As in the past we have purchased some small fleece blankets and anointed them with prayer for healing, to give to the sick and/or hurting.  We believe that whoever receives the blankets will be covered in healing prayer. 

Pastor Don is having another round of Chemo on Monday, December 15th 2008.  While we are at the Arlington Cancer Center we will be taking 70 blankets to hand out to the other cancer patients.  Last year at Christmas we were able to take only 38 blankets.  Because of your faithful giving we were able to nearly double the amount of blankets this year!  Praise God.

The blankets don't heal anyone, but God can and we believe that these little blanks can cover them with healing prayer and bring comfort to those who are seeking God for healing.
